The Technical Ceramics business of Morgan Advanced Materials engineers high performance functional and structural ceramic materials, components and sub-assemblies to address customer-specific technical challenges.

This is a hourly non-exempt position. The Junior Account reports to the Site Controller.

Duties:

• Ensures the efficient fulfillment of accounts payable and the company's financial obligations.
• Performs accounting coding for expenses.
• Responsible for validating and reviewing various types of invoices/disbursements.
• Investigates accounts payable issues, including researching and resolving discrepancies, system issues, taxes, payments, and credit memos.
• Ensures that systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness.
• Performs expense analysis.
• Assists with monthly-end closing.
• Assists with ad hoc special projects.

Qualifications:

• A degree in accounting is desirable.
• Working experience with Microsoft Dynamics is desirable.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Accounts Payable experience ( 2 years minimum)

Salary Range: Hourly non-exempt $38.46/hr - $43.27/hr ($80,000 - $90,000)
